For the third consecutive year staff at DETSS have worked alongside Mike Hughes, a well-known and highly acclaimed educationalist. A former post-primary principal he is currently working freelance and over a period of many years has developed a reputation as an inspirational and innovative educational facilitator and is widely regarded as a leader in the field of learning.
Staff have been working with Mike, founder of Magenta Principles through several workshops this year enabling staff to work with their colleagues as well as further develop their own pedagogy and consolidate expertise on teaching and learning active methodologies based on the Magenta Principles.
DETSS are proud to have worked alongside Mike and are actively embedding Magenta Principles in the school’s teaching and learning.
