Transfer into Drogheda Educate Together Secondary School

The information requested on this application form is required in order to process your application for a transfer to this school from another second level school. The information provided by you will be treated confidentially and processed in line with the school's Admission Policy.

In accordance with section 66(6) of the Education Act 1998, as amended, personal data relating to applications for admission may be shared with the board of management of another school or the patron in order to facilitate the efficient admission of students.

Drogheda Educate Together Secondary School is only accepting applications in respect of transfers for the academic year 2026/27.

There is no guarantee a place will become available in the year group you are hoping to transfer into.

Submission of an Application Form for Transfer is not a guarantee of a place in Drogheda ETSS (see Admissions Policy). There is no guarantee a place will become available for the year group you are applying to transfer into. In accordance with our admissions policy your application may be placed on a waiting list which will remain active for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.

Parents/Guardians must respond in writing to confirm an offered place for their child within 14 days of that offer being made. Failure to do so may result in your child's place being forfeited.

It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to inform Drogheda Educate Together Secondary School of any change of address, contact details or other relevant information that may occur after submission of this form.

Please take care when filling out this form as offers of places in the school will be based on the information supplied.

After submitting the form, you will be directed to an acknowledgment page. You will also receive an email receipt to the email address entered on the form. This email address will be our primary contact with you.

Note: applications made after the 15^th May 2026 will be processed as late applications, the school will consider and issue decisions on late applications in accordance with the school’s admission policy.

Failure of an applicant to accept an offer by the 14^th June 2026 will result in the offer being withdrawn.
